Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression

Non-surgical spinal decompression elongates the spine to provide relief from back or leg pain. This advanced technology uses a computerized traction table or similar motorized device to create the special force needed to accomplish this therapeutic goal.

Spinal elongation gives misaligned bones of the spine, known as vertebrae, the space they need to resume their normal position. Spinal Decompression also reduces pressure on the discs between each vertebra, especially bulging or herniated discs that cause pain and disability. In order to maximize therapeutic effects, non-surgical spinal decompression elongates the spine as the muscles that guard the spine, the paraspinal muscles, are relaxed.

disk_herniationWhen the spine is elongated, pressure inside the discs drops. Low pressure within a disc allows for a better flow of nutrient- and oxygen-rich fluids into the disc, which keeps it healthy and functioning well. Reduced pressure can also help herniated discs draw back the leaked disc fluids to reduce the size of the herniation.

Our Spinal Decompression System uses high-speed treatment computers that calculate a logarithmic spinal decompression curve to ensure optimal therapeutic effects for each patient we see. These treatment computers monitor and calculate corrections to ensure that every decompression treatment is completely catered to each individual patient’s needs.
